BABSSCo Summer Schools have a high ratio of staff to students, so there are lots of people ensuring that you are safe and happy while you learn English and have a great holiday.

Who Are Our BABSSCo Staff?

Our staff are carefully selected regular teachers or previous students at the schools, and some have recently graduated from full time courses.

We also have staff who are former BABSSCo students. Their positive experience with our English language school has inspired them to volunteer as staff members themselves.

About Our BABSSCo Support Staff

BABSSCo staff supervise and instructs in sports and other activities while encouraging students to learn new skills. Where relevant, sporting and specialist activities are instructed by professional qualified coaches. Support staff are also there if you need advice or just someone to talk to. We choose staff members who are responsible, fun, fully vetted and understanding of the needs of others. Our strict hiring guidelines help us to maintain a reputation for expert care.

Activities Staff and Excursion Guidelines

Activities Staff will attend excursions with you. They also join you for the evening social programme. Activities staff will accompany you throughout your stay. At times students who are older may have more independence to visit shops in small groups and go to bed at a later time.  Students aged 8-12 will be supervised at all times.

Some staff members are residents and house parents. They stay in the boarding houses to look after you in the evenings and during the night. There are separate residences for boys and girls, either in different Houses or different areas. An experienced senior member of BABSSCo staff is responsible for student welfare at each school. Each of our schools has access to excellent medical care on site.
